One of the best rivalries in sports has come and put on show yet again this year. Although both of us here at RandomSportsDudes are die hard Tar Heel fans we admitted that Duke really put on a show in Cameron in other night. That statement is never easy to say especially when a big reason the Tar Heels lost was because infamous Grayson Allen had an outstanding game. Allen ended up going off for 25 points with most of those coming from behind the three point line. To add insult to injury for our beloved Tar Heels, Duke point guard Jayson Tatum exploded for a deadly 19 points in the second half after being held scoreless in the first. Not to mention Tatum ended up posterizing Carolina center Kennedy Meeks in very embarassing fashion after he tried to block him. It was saddening to say the least especially with the results of last year’s national championship. That game has left a hole in UNC fans heart’s that can only be filled with a national championship win or a complete spanking of the Duke Blue Devils. Tar Heel fans will ultimately have to wait a little bit longer to get revenge as they will face Duke again at home for the Tar Heels last game of the regular season.
